This mountain retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure, with easy access to Davis and Thomas, and a walking trail to Mirror Lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The home is nestled in a gorgeous setting, with trails leading from your backyard into the National Forest.
Inside, enjoy two primary suites, a rec room with a fireplace, a spacious TV room, and a pool table for fun and relaxation. The open living room and kitchen area boasts a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and leads out to a large deck with a hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor activities.

by DominiqueI can't believe after renting Uncle Wade's Cabin every year since 2020, I'm just now leaving a review – and that I'm the first! This place is genuinely amazing, and there's a real reason we keep coming back. The cabin is always spotless when we arrive, and we love finding a note from the housekeepers; it's become a tradition to write one back before we leave. The Canaan Realty staff is super friendly too, and it's so nice that they remember returning renters! The cabin itself is spacious and comfy, with open rooms perfect for family and friends to hang out, plus you seriously can't beat that view! Uncle Wade's Cabin feels secluded, but it's also close to tourist spots and good eats. Between the hot tub, pool table, and fireplaces, this cabin has all the good vibes. After five years, it really feels like our home away from home. I highly recommend renting this cabin – you won't regret it! (Just save me a week at the end of September/beginning of October lol)
